Location
“Villa Hipnosis” owes its unique character to the tradition of modernism of the 1920s and 1930s. A special point of reference here is the work of the outstanding German architectural team BAUHAUS.
Characteristic blinds on the balconies
The hallmarks of the villa are large glazing and wooden blinds that can be used to regulate the access of light to the interior of the apartments.
The front elevation is made of sandstone
The main façade is covered with sandstone. Sandstone stone slabs were arranged irregularly, introducing artistic chaos into the orderly space of the front façade. The terraces were closed with glass balustrades, giving visual lightness to the entire structure.
Elegant staircase
Noteworthy is the staircase, which is the dominant element of the side façade. Fully glazed, divided by vertical lines, it emphasizes the elegant character of the building.
